Aim Support Services Staff

Skilled, committed support professionals helping young people move towards independence.

At Aim Support Services, our staff team plays a central role in delivering high quality Supported Accommodation 18+. We work with young adults who are building the skills, confidence and stability needed for independent living. Our support workers and managers bring a mix of professional experience, strong values and genuine care for the young people we support.

We focus on housing-related support, life skills, emotional support and safe, structured guidance tailored to each young person’s needs, background and future goals.

Staff You Can Trust

Staff You Can Trust

We understand that trusting someone to work with a young adult is a significant responsibility. That’s why we place strong emphasis on integrity, professionalism and reliability across our entire team. Our staff are trained to build respectful, boundaried and supportive relationships where young adults feel listened to, understood and safe.

They encourage young people to make their own decisions, while offering clear guidance, consistent encouragement and structured support that helps them move confidently towards independence.

Selected & Vetted

Everyone who works for Aim Support Services goes through a thorough recruitment and vetting process. We check their experience, qualifications and motivation for working with vulnerable young adults. All staff are subject to enhanced DBS checks, reference checks and right-to-work verification before starting in post. We look for people who combine professional skills with empathy, patience and resilience, ensuring that only those who share our values join our team.

Trained & Experienced

Our staff are trained to support young people who have experienced trauma, disrupted education, mental health challenges, learning disabilities, communication needs, or separeted young people. They understand the difficulties care leavers face and receive training in safeguarding, mental health, boundaries, professional conduct, de-escalation, equality, confidentiality, GDPR, health and safety, and life-skills support.

Caring, Youth-Focused Professionals

Support work is not “just a job.” During recruitment, we assess applicants’ motivations, warmth, respect, and reliability in challenging situations. We employ only those genuinely committed to helping young adults thrive, who communicate clearly, and go the extra mile to support positive outcomes. Staff model healthy behaviour, encourage independence, and promote self-belief, working alongside young people rather than doing everything for them, helping them build confidence step by step.

Well-Matched Support

Good relationships are at the heart of effective support. When allocating staff, we consider the young person’s needs, preferences, cultural background, language, personality and interests. Wherever possible, we match key workers who can relate well to the young person, understand their goals and communicate with them in a way that feels natural and respectful. This matching process helps create trust, consistency and better long-term outcomes.
