At Aim Support Services, we provide safe, supportive and structured accommodation for young adults aged 18 to 25 who are preparing for independent living. Our service is designed for care leavers and other vulnerable young people who may need continued guidance with day-to-day life, routines and decision-making as they move towards adulthood.

We work alongside Local Authorities, Personal Advisors and other professionals to make sure each young person receives support that reflects their history, strengths, cultural background and future goals. Our approach is person-centred and trauma-informed: we focus on listening, understanding and building trusting relationships so that young people feel respected and involved in all decisions about their lives.

Many of the young adults we support may experience challenges such as mental health needs, learning disabilities, communication difficulties or autism. We recognise that these experiences do not define them. With the right encouragement and structure, young people can learn new skills, continue in education, access training or employment and move on to more independent accommodation. Our role is to provide the stability, guidance and practical support that makes this possible.

In our homes, young people are supported to manage everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, attending appointments and looking after their environment. We also help them to develop confidence, improve communication, build positive relationships and plan for their future. We believe that every young person has potential, and our team works alongside them to turn small steps into long-term progress.

Each individual is unique, with their own needs, preferences and ambitions. For this reason, we do not offer a one-size-fits-all service. We complete detailed assessments, agree personalised support plans and review these regularly with the young person and the professional network. Our staff combine professional boundaries with a warm, friendly attitude so that young people feel both safe and encouraged.
